With Clever integration, students and staff are automatically scheduled in Seesaw classes based on Discovery scheduling. Staff cannot archive scheduled classes. Instead, we recommend changing the class name to “X” and the class icon to a red X for classes that teachers will not be using. Teachers should then communicate to students in which sections they will be posting assignments.
It is recommended that teachers who have multiple classes with the same roster of students use a single centralized class, such as Homeroom. This centralized class is where students will go for all of their activities from that teacher.
Specialists can join the classroom teacher or have their own class. To join the classroom teacher’s chosen Seesaw class, they need to be added as a support/assistant teacher in Discovery.
