MPS Accounts & Email
All MPS staff (including reserve staff and substitutes) have an MPS staff account. Substitutes can access necessary web resources and email through their MPS Staff account.

Short Term Substitutes
All MPS Classrooms are equipped with a Promethean board which provides staff access to web resources.
Short term subs will most likely need to use the Promethean boards to access email, Google Classroom, online videos, and other applications that can be accessed from a web browser. To better support substitute teachers, MPS recommends emailing the substitute teacher the following information:
The model type or version of the panel used in the classroom
A link to our Promethean resources so that the substitute can get familiar with classroom technology
An indication on whether or not lesson plans have been printed in advance, or if they’re loaded onto the Promethean board.
Some classroom teachers choose to leave lessons plans on the Promethean board.
If provided, short term substitutes can access lesson plans by logging into the Promethean board.
When logging into the Promethean board, substitutes should select the "New User" account on the login screen to proceed logging in with their MPS Staff account.
Long Call Substitutes
Long call substitutes (6+ weeks) can submit a ticket to request a device (laptop) to prepare lesson plans and connect to the Promethean board.
