Welcome to the Preschool Program Registration Training!
Target Audience: MPS Staff
Duration: 1-2 hours
It is important that schools ensure the process is followed to enroll students in the Preschool Programs at Minneapolis Public Schools. It is critical that certain information from the Program Enrollment Forms are entered in Infinite Campus for every student who enrolls in a Preschool Program (High Five or 3 School) within Minneapolis Public Schools for the following reasons:
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) requires school districts to submit an annual report containing data identification for each student who enrolled in the Preschool program.
MPS receives funds to operate the Preschool program based on the number of enrollments reported to MDE each year.
The data collected helps MDE improve program support to school districts and outreach to families.
