A ListServ is software that automatically sends emails to a specific group of addresses. At MPS, owners of Listserv lists can manage how messages are moderated, who can moderate those messages and which email addresses are on each list.
Roles in the ListServ System
Owner: An MPS staff member in charge of managing both moderators and list subscribers. Learn how to manage and use lists.
Moderator: An MPS staff member in charge of approving or rejecting emails sent to moderated lists. See training below. Learn how to moderate and use lists.
Subscriber: A person whose email address has been added to a ListServ list. Subscribers of lists may include MPS staff, and/or community members. Learn how to use lists.
