Note: Valic is now Corebridge Financial

Valic is the 403B retirement plan provider from AIG Retirement Services. When you first signed up for a 403B retirement plan with Minneapolis Public Schools, the Benefits team worked with Valic to create your financial account. If you need to add and/or update your 403B Savings Plan, check out the additional resources section.

To review and access your retirement information, you’ll need to register your account on Valic’s website. The credentials you create for your Valic account, should not be the same as your MPS username or password. When registering, be certain to use your personal email address so that you can access your retirement information at any time.

It is important to note that when you register your Valic account online, Valic will compare the information you enter with the data that already exists in their database. You can enter personal details like your date of birth and social security number with confidence of security.

Keep monitoring your account. If your balance continues to be zero, it is possible that your account information has not been formally registered. Contact the Benefits team at Benefits@mpls.k12.mn.us.

+ How do I make adjustments, like changing the amount of money set aside, or assigning a new beneficiary?

You can make these changes in Employee Self-Service (ESS).
